The Fiscal Alliance recently welcomed Kristen Arute as our new Major Gifts Manager, a role that will help us strengthen relationships with supporters and expand the work we are doing across Massachusetts and New England.
Kristen is no stranger to the Alliance. She previously served for several years on the Fiscal Alliance Foundation’s board of directors, where she helped guide the organization’s work and growth. It’s not very common for a board member to become a staff member of an organization but that is a true testament to the important work we do and the commitment Kristen has to the Alliance. In her new role, she will work directly with supporters to help grow the resources that make our mission possible.

She has been a strong supporter of the Alliance for years and understands both our mission and the importance of building a strong network of supporters to sustain it. Her experience, relationships, and commitment to the cause make her an excellent addition to our growing development team as we continue expanding our work.
A resident of Hingham and former candidate for the Massachusetts State Legislature, she also serves as Program Director for Hingham CARES, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing substance use among youth.
Her professional background includes work as a Market Research Coordinator for an educational software company before earning licensure in middle school mathematics and teaching in the public school system while building a successful private tutoring business. She is a graduate of Wheelock College in Boston with a degree in education.
Please join us in welcoming Kristen to the Alliance team. We hope you’ll have a chance to meet her soon!
