Alliance Announces New Development Hire as Organizations Continue to Grow

The Fiscal Alliance Foundation, Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance, and Fiscal Partners (the Alliance) today announced the addition of Jess Garlock as Development Associate, a move that reflects the three organization’s continued growth and expanding donor engagement efforts.

In her role, Garlock will support fundraising initiatives and donor relations, helping strengthen the Alliance’s capacity in Massachusetts and New England.

“Jess brings valuable experience in public policy and nonprofit development, and she is committed to help the Alliance grow as we begin our new chapter for the constellation organizations known as the Alliance. As we grow, expanding our development team is a critical step in ensuring our work reaches more people and has an impact. Jess is the first and an important step toward reaching our next fundraising goal for this year and beyond,” said Paul Diego Craney, Executive Director of the Alliance.

“I am excited to join the Alliance and support its work. The reputation of Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance, the Fiscal Alliance Foundation, and Fiscal Partners are well known, and I am very grateful to be a part of this growing and influential team. I hope to make an immediate impact to help the Alliance grow this year,” said Garlock.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Garlock worked in public policy in Washington, D.C., where she tracked federal programming and supported development operations for several nonprofit organizations. She also gained valuable experience working in Connecticut for a non-profit organization. She graduated in 2024 from Patrick Henry College with a degree in History and a concentration in international affairs. Garlock currently resides in southeastern Connecticut.
